Timothy Lee Myers (Adair) passed away on November 22, 2020 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Tim was born to Imogene Adair and Earl Myers on 6/11/1952 in Tyler, TX. He spent his childhood years in Tyler with his loving parents, Imogene and Jerry Adair, and siblings, Patty, Laura "Lolly," Johnny, Jerri "Bo Bo," and Robin. In later years, he was reunited with his paternal siblings, Celestra, Sundown, and Sundance.

Tim graduated from John Tyler High School in 1971. He served as Crew Chief for ELS Surveying until he was struck by a car while he was bicycling in late 2011. Tim went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Upon completion of his degree, he began substitute teaching middle schoolers who were receiving special education services.

Tim was an active adventurer. He lived his life to the fullest, as if each day might be his last. More concerned with the journey than the destination, he would frequently hit the road with a dream in his head and a smile on his face. He was an accomplished tri-athlete whose biggest competitor was himself. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed fencing, traveling, music, spending time with family, friends. and his pups.

He gave to others freely and played Santa to his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews for many years. He was not bound by the constraints of material things because of his deep appreciation of the beauty that exists in nature. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

Tim is survived by his siblings Patty Evans of Bullard, TX, John Adair of Winona, TX, Jerri Grace of Flint, TX, Robin Ponder of Bullard, TX, Celestra Myers Elliot, Sundown Myers, and Sundance Myers.
