Attended Bonner Elementary all 6 years with Danny and then again in High school.  He was such a nice guy and so funny at times.  I'm glad I was able to see him at the last reunion.  Danny was always such a cool, handsome guy while we were growing up.  I was happy to see that he was still that same guy!  God bless Danny and his family.

There is sadness for our earthly loss of a treasured and special friend! Danny was our John Tyler class encourager, our happy spirit, our "life of the party" personality but most importantly, that fun loving guy that loved us all! There are too many memories to list from our days in classes, our class reunions, the Barn get togethers at his Tyler home and even the visits to the salon where he attempted to make us all look good! Every memory brings a smile, a chuckle and a reason to feel so blessed to have such a friend. To this precious family and all the friends whose lives he touched, you should all feel peace in knowing that while we lost him on earth, he will certainly be our heavenly guardian angel! There is no question he was welcomed home by an army of special loving angels who have also gone before us! Until we meet again ... thanks for the memories Danny! Love and prayers!

As we prepare for our 45th class reunion, this news has been so difficult.  We will have Danny in our hearts always!

Well said Belinda! I too thot how sad that reunion a month away and he won't be there but....I was also thinking that perhaps he will join another reunion with those gone before and he will smile that toothy sweet smile upon us. It's so sad, this is the only way I can look at it. Thank you and Velma for comments. I am sure many of us feel the same way.

Danny was a great guy.  He lived across the street from me and was always friendly.  It is so sad that he passed away right before the reunion, but he willl definitely be there in spirit and will not be forgotten.

I am in total shock.  My  heart and prayers goes out to his family. Danny and I grew up in the same neighbor-hood, but I didn't know him until we went to Robert Jr. Hi , and he became a good friend .  I was so looking forward to seeing his a the reunion next month.

I heard of Danny's passing from my mother, who sitll lives in Tyler.  Danny and I grew up together, across the street from one another.  We both went to Bonner and played baseball together on the Bonner Rebels for three years.  We played together, we fought, as often times boys will, but we were always friends in the end and remained friends throughout.  I always knew Danny to be all boy on the outside, but to be very caring and gentle on the inside.  The world will be a little less with his passing.  God bless him and his family.
