Carl Irby (Buddy) as we all knew him was born November 12, 1952 in Dallas and passed away after a short illness on August 7, 2026 at age 73. He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father Marie and Carl Irby and his brother Larry Irby. Carl was one of six sons born to Marie and Carl and he loved them all dearly, along with many nieces and nephews. When Carl was 11 years old his mom passed away and he went to live with his Aunt and Uncle Sandra and Mitchell Smith of New Harmony Texas. While he was living with them they had a son named Mark Smith that Carl always considered a brother as well. He lived with them until 1973 when he met and married Kay Irby of Lindale Texas. They were married 53 years and spent the majority of their marriage living in and around Lewisville, Texas where they raised their family. Carl had two sons he loved with all his heart. Joshua Irby is his oldest who gave him his grandson Paxton Irby (the love of his life ) and his youngest son Ethan Irby who gave him a beautiful daughter in-law Taelor Irby. Carl spent many years coaching his son's in Soccer and Baseball. His son's meant everything to him and those times on the ball field were some of his most precious memories.  Carl was loved and will be missed dearly.
