Donna lived in my neighborhood at one time when she was married. I remember she got sick with strep and was really ill. She was trying not to go to the doctor and raise her children. When she did finally go, she was very ill. That is such a tragedy that she was taking such care of her children, but did not take care of herself. A super mom.
Donna & I went to sunday school and church together at Central Baptist church all our growing up years. She was always beautiful - dark shiney hair and dark, sparkling eyes - she was always smiling, which showed her cute dimples. A sweet, gentle spirit who lived for the Lord. At her funeral I remember her pastor talking about how faithful she was, how even as a single mom she was always at church with her 4 small children. She was a precious mother, daughter, sister and friend. I was so blessed to know her.
